The whole idea of a studio is you control the lighting so a lot of the course will deal with equipment (continuous light, flash etc!.), lighting set ups and the various effects you can achieve!. Technical things such as metering and exposure will be covered too!. On top of all that you will cover the aesthetics!.

All in all a pretty good grounding in Photography which applies to other genre's too!.
