Question: What do you think of these paintings!?
My Father has been an artist his whole life!.!.!.I am 19 now and his youngest daughter and he still hasn't done anything with his work!. I really want him to do an exhibit of his art, he has done soooo many wonderful paintings and he will give them away or just hang them anywhere he can in our house!.

These are great!. He has real talent!. I love the quick style of them, and the large brush strokes!. His use of color is amazing!. I really like these!. This is a style that I really like!. They are so lifelike but still abstracted a little!. There is so much movement implied in the strokes!. I really could go on and on!. They are so unpretentious too!. He should have a show, or at least have them in a coffee shop like the above poster said!. I have heard that some coffee shops only take a 15% commission, so I would look around!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I cannot tell what some of the infrastructure is supposed to be but they are very nice!. I like his style of painting a lot!. So yeah, I would suggest selling them to an office or a lobby somewhere or something that would want some uniform artwork to decorate with!. My dad's office is done entirely with sepia photographs of our town and they go down the hallways where he works!. I have seen a lot of businesses do that!. Hope it helps!
And also, ask if you could display the pictures somewhere, like a local coffee shop, with the prices on them and try to sell them through that business!. Then you could give them 20 percent (as an example) of whatever you sellWww@QuestionHome@Com
You really need to feature all of his work in some type of exhibit!. You could even sell them on eBay and get a lot of money for them!. Really!. You could also ask a local restaurant to put them in their dining area, and put the price on them!. Or there are a lot of places that will let you display a business card or post a flyer featuring his paintings and the asking price!. Tell him good luck for me!Www@QuestionHome@Com
Those are pretty fun! I would see if your local arts commission has a gallery that he could apply to show at!. Or maybe even take a little portfolio of the images to some galleries and see if they would hang a show for him!. I would be happy to look at one every day! :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com
