How to set self timer for fuji finepix s1000fd?

Question: How to set self timer for fuji finepix s1000fd!?

I just recently brought the fuji finepix s1000fd and I've read the handbook several times and see nothing about how to set the self timer!. I push the button on the camera and it says "Picture is taken after 10 seconds" but nothing happens!. Do I have to push something else or what am I doing wrong!? Please helpWww@QuestionHome@Com
