Question: What Can I Do To Enhance This Photograph!?

I am not happy with the background, and want to isolate the flower so it is by itself!. Should i turn the background white!? Desaturate it!? Saturate it!?

And as for the flower, any tips like the ones above!? Thanks a lot!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The flower needs to be sharper - the one in the example, looks a little out of focus for being as close-up as it is!. To make the flower your focal point, the background is going to have to appear lighter and less in focus and the color in the flower should be stronger, bolder!. You're gonna have to mess with it for a while!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

okay in photoshop create a duplicate layer!. make the back layer black and white!. then enhance the top layer to make the saturation of the flower intense (but not too much- just enough to enhance it) and then with the eraser tool- erase the background of the top layer around the flower!. this will allow the bottom layer to shine through and leave the the background black and white!. giving the picture and interesting artistic contrast, but still keeping details, while allowing the flower to be the uncontested center of attention!. hope that helps!? :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

put the background in black and white!. i do that alot that allways works, after you do that, if you feel the flower is now too bright try dimming the flower a bit!. hope that helpedWww@QuestionHome@Com
