Well, it looks like you've got some great scenary to work with!

1) This is really beautiful!. But two things:
-I wish I could see more of the scene (so next time, take some steps back, if possible)
-and when it comes to basic horizontal scenary, always try to keep the horizon straight!. I'm sure you know it's crooked!.

2) Again with the crooked horizon!. Although it's beautiful, it's still just a snapshot of the beach!. Millions of people have them!. Next time, look for something unique about the beach to photograph!.

3) A really beautiful sunflower, but the cars and background are very, very distracting!. It makes this just another snapshot!. Next time, use your hand to gently twist the sunflower so that you can shoot from a different angle, without a distracting background!. Or get very close to the flower so that the main focus is just the flower and it's petals!.

4) Sorry, just another snapshot!. I can see how the scenary here might be gorgeous, but the rocks and neon green leaves are way too distracting!. Next time, bring the camera much closer to the rocks or leaves, so that if ANY of it is in view, it will be minimal!. Like a child peeking through the holes and not just someone with their view blocked by rocks!.

5) Another beautiful one!. This would be better with wider lens, though that probably wasn't possible for you!.

6) A little more interesting than the others!. The flowers are in a good position!. Not too much, not too little!. And the building isn't distracting because it has a very interesting design!. It is curious to look at!. And the plain, blue sky is appealing!. If there were cars or people in this photo, it would only look like a snapshot!. It's good that you got down at a low angle!. This also makes it more interesting than just a snapshot of that building!.

Nature and scenary photographs are a dime a dozen!. Everyone has them!. Especially those who live in such beautiful areas!. In order to make it as a nature photographer, you have to be able to find something different and unique to photograph!. Even if you are just viewing an interesting building from the ground near some dandelions!. You have to find a way to make each shot interesting and not just pretty!. Anyone can take a pretty scenary photo!.

Keep shooting, keep shooting, keep shooting! The more you shoot, you'll start to notice a trend of what you pay attention to the most!. Every photographer has a theme that they pay more detail to that defines their style!. It could take you a short time or even a lifetime to find your theme, but you have to keep shooting to find it!. I've been shooting for a few years now and I still don't have a solid theme yet!. Just keep at it! =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi Haley! I think the one of the sunflower is the best!. The flower if off center(that's good), great focus on that, and great color on the subject!. The background is distracting with the cars, ect!. I don't know what kind of camera you are using, but this shot would even better if you blurred out the background while keeping the flower in focus!. You can do this with an slr or dslr by setting the aperture wide open!.

b!. placement in the frame(rule of thirds)(meant to be broken!)
c!. converging lines
d!. contrast of colors
e!. Large and small
Just a few ways!
3!. Make sure that your subject is in focus
4!. Make sure you have exposed properly!.

Professionally!? You're not there!. One of my pet peeves is unlevel horizon lines!. Of all of them, I like the composition of #5 the best, but technically it's not great!. Keep practicing, take some classes or study design and how to get the best from your camera!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

make sure the horizons are even!. And no, you can't be a photographer yet!. You need to study more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
