Question: I think deep down everyone is secretly a photographer, don't you!?
I started about six months ago taking my camera everywhere!. I'm still getting adjusted to taking pictures of people, because it's something new for me and people don't know what to think!. I've been shooting at work for awhile now, and many of the people there have ended up asking me to get shots for them and get disappointed if my battery is dead or I don't have it, but at first they acted like I was weird!. It brings a lot of fun to work!. One of my coworkers started bringing a camera to work and everyone is calling him my copycat!. I think deep down everyone would like to be a photographer, but don't want to be considered weird for taking pictures all the time!. What do you all think!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly, I wouldn't call you a photographer!. Don't take any offense from this!. Photography is much more than clicking a button on a camera!. There are several things a photographer has to think about before they take a picture: lighting, subject matter, staging, focus- just to name a few!. To get a great shot, it can take dozens of photos and hours of time!. Photography is much harder than you think!. I quickly found that out when I went to a 2-day nature photography competition!. I thought I was good at it, but I definitely was told wrong by the judges!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I think everyone thinks they are a photographer!. That's what make it so hard for people like me who make a living at it!. Anyone can get lucky once and shoot a good picture, but it takes special talent to do it day after day after day!. The great thing about a camera is it helps document our lives!. When I take someone's picture, I'm taking a portrait!. When they take pictures of their friends or family, they see a side of those people I rarely get but always strive for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I disagree!. I think some people like the final result, but can't be bothered by the means!. I too used to carry a camera to every party during college (before digital, so I was the only one) and I would get weird looks!. But, on the next weekend, everyone would ask me if I got them developed because they wanted to see them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
everyone wants to be something cool, everyone wants to play a musical instrument, be able to draw, be able to be athletic!. photography doesnt require much learning!. its all about doing what you think is best!. so i think thats why anyone can be a photographer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

One thing for sure these days, is that just because some people have a camera, they think they are good photographers! It takes a lot more than a decent camera to take good photos!Www@QuestionHome@Com
