Question: Can somebody help me resize a picture in INCHES!?

I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING! but I can't figure out how to resize my picture to 4x6 inches CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME HOW! IT IS IMPORTANT!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most programs have both cropping tools you can set for specific sizes in inches as well as resizing being available that allows you to resize in inches, cm and other dimensions, as well as setting the DPI to what ever amount you need (300 for photographic prints and 72 for posting on a website!.

Just remember to name the new file some other name so you don't over write your original

By the way !.!.!. you do not have to resize the image to print 4x6 inch photographs !.!. You just have to tell the printer that you are printing on photo grade 4x6 inch paper and to auto match the image to the print size!.

f you have Microsoft Photo Editor you can go to file, open and get to your photos!.!.!.bring up the one that you want to resize click on it, then click on Image, resize and when the box pops up and you'll see the percentage is 100%, just click on the 100 back it out and put in 40 (just the top one is OK) and hit OK, then go back to file, save!. All done!. You can email them and they come out perfect!. You can use another size, I find 40 is the best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Okay!.!. do you have photoshop!? if so, start a new document in 4X6 ,than go to your old file!.!. press select all than right click the old image and sai COPY!.!.
now go back to the NEW screen you set up & paste the image!.!. resize it accordingly (you will have drawers to make it larger/smaller its really easy and manual takes about 5 seconds)
now press save as and you should have your 4X6!.!. if you don't have photoshop let me know what you have and ill try to work with itWww@QuestionHome@Com
