Henna is a plant and it produces a red type of dye!. In the indian culture its common for special occsassions like weddings and baby showers and so forth!. Its like a temporary tattoo!. Its not dangerous at all and the rate at which it fades kind of varies on how long you let it dry!.

this site has a lot of info on it!.

Yes, it's def safe!. The paste should be made of all natural things, and will fade away within a week or two, but if you do a lot of swimming in chlorinated water, the design will fade away much faster!.

Henna is basically a greenish paste that you put on your skin in the design that you like, and you wait for the paste to dry, and peel off by itself!. If it hasn't completly peeled off, and you need to shower or something take some olive oil, a teeny tiny bit, and just put it over the dried out paste so water doesn't ruin it!. To apply it on your skin, it's best to use a little bottle with a fine tip at the top so you can do very intricate designs!. You can buy Henna kits at stores like Michael's or Hot Topic!. also, wehn you go to Six Flags or the beach they might have henna places!.

Hope this helps, :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

It does fade off with time!. It is definitely not permeant!. It depends on what kind of henna you get the black takes 1-2 weeks and the brown one can take days to weeks depending on how long you leave the crust on before washing it off!.

Henna is a type of ink from India!. If put into hair, it cannot be removed or dyed over and only comes in like 3 colors of hair dye, I think!. You can also have your skin painted with henna, and it usually lasts for a few weeks!. People getting a tattoo often get the Henna version first to see how it looks and how they feel with it for a few days!.

I've gotten a few Henna tattoos and they were perfectly safe!. It faded after a week or so and now my skin looks back to how it always was!. If you are going to put Henna on clothes, be careful because it is a very heavy dye and doesn't come off!. But its perfectly healthy on your skin, and its fine to use!. It comes from a plant, so its pretty all-natural!.

I was a bridesmaid for a friend in Malaysia and had henna tattoos applied as part of the ceremony!. It's basically a stain, but some people can have a severe allergic reaction!. Always do a test first!. It doesn't wash off, but it does fade - it's supposed to take 7 -10 days to fade, but for some reason, mine was gone in less than that!. As for DIY!? Well, that's up to you - but if you mess it up, you'll be stuck with it for a bit so I'd suggest practicing first!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

henna is like a temporary tattoo made out of eucalyptus as well as other ingredients, and you put it onto your skin with a tube, and you wait for it to dry and then you peel it off and there will be a light brown design that will last about 2-3 weeks depending on how often you shower, definitely give it a try, it's really safe, not harmful in any way
good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
