Question: How do you change a picture to RGB in The GIMP!?
Ive opened a picture that ive done which is just a sketch in black and white to colour with The GIMP, but it says its in grayscale!.!.!.How do I change it!? Its only letting me put colours on in grays!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

On the window of the image you have open go to the toolbar and select Image!. Then select Mode!. Next, select RGB!.

also note you could scan in color instead of grayscale, allowing more detail and information in file, image> mode/ >

Inkscape!. with option to trace bitmap outline to path,can export as png, or save as svg, and open in gimp with ghost cript add-on features,

use photoshop
1-open the picture
2-click image- mode -rgb
