Question: Glamour Shots company!?
i have an appt to get my senior pictures done at the glamour shots (chain) in orland park IL !.!.!.i have read some AWFUL things about the company (not any at the orland park one) but i am now very nervous about this!. i know it will take a while and eveyrhting but i have very impatient parents and i am worried they will be upset with the experience!.!.!.i just need to know about it!.!.!.i have had 1 friend get them done there and hers came out great! and another friend got them done in VA and thye were nice too
my question is : has anyone gotten pictures done at a glamour shots!? can you tell me about the experience!?

The biggest problem with Glamour shots is that they have a tendency to go heavy on the make up!. Tell your makeup artists to be sure not to paint you up like a hooker!. You don't need that image in a year book!. It will haunt you down the road when you come back for reunions!. As for your parents!.!.!.find out how long the experience usually takes and prepare them!. It might be prudent for them to go shopping while you get your stuff done!. Or maybe they should drop you off and wait for a call to indicate its time to pick you up!. I assume you're 17!. So a little time on your own in the mall shouldn't pose to much of an issue if you are responsible and mature about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
It is the biggest waste of money!. The photographers are not professional, and all they are concerned about is how many "units" you will purchase!. Go to a professional studio photographer, that has his or her own business!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
The yankee gal and I had a picture made there!.!.!.fakery and crap!. I've seen tons of "Glamour Shots", and they all look fake!. Ugh!. If you want make-believe and fantasy, go there!. Don't expect reality, though!. I hate them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
hi, i've not been to this place, but i am a photographer!. What you need to tell your parents is that you all are paying for this to be shot and it will take some time!. It's not a 10 minute event!. This man is taking time to photograph you and it takes time because he's never seen you before!. He needs to take time to test and see what angle is best for you, make sure you look your best so that you your parents can have a great selection of photo's to purchase!. Good luck!.!.!.i did this to my parents when i had my photo's taken!.!.!.but it was the guy's fault for not taking his time!.!.!.now that i shoot!.!.!.i tell my subjects to alot some time for the occasion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
