Question: How do i make a latex mask!?

i want a simple way to make a mask out of latex!. i need a list of what i need and where i could get this from!.

i also need to know the first step, like getting a mould of someone's face!.

the internet is useless for this, so any sites that are good you know of or have personal experience, help would be greatly appreciated!. thanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

The safe way to make a mold of a person's face is to use moulage which is a seaweed based agar gel used in makeup work and for faking wounds in emergency drill scenarios!. It is fairly expensive but because it it warmed to not far above body temperature and cools as it gels (and is reusable) it is safer than applying plaster of paris to the face which can harm sensitive skin and because plaster gets hot as it sets may panic some people (besides pulling hair off the face!.)
The agar is floppy, so a layer of plaster or plaster gauze is applied to the outside before removing it from the face to provide support!. A plaster positive of the person's face is made in the agar mold to provide a basis for building the latex mask which is a tedious process of painting on a layer of liquid latex molding material and letting it dry/set!.
If you want to practice on less than a full face mask, it is possible to build a modest latext prosthesis (mustache, odd nose, cheek bone enhancement, scar) directly on the person who will be wearing it if they are patient!. Drying of the latex is speeded by using a blowdryer on low or air only!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
