Photography is one half technical control over the camera and the other half is artistic composition (having an eye for art)!. Your shots of the trees, the leafy path, and the leaves on water show that you are an artist and have an artistic eye for creative and artful composition!. Those are your strongest shots!. The flowers, I like the least based on that criteria!. To answer your question of whether you should continue with this: My answer is: There's an artist inside of you and I encourage you to continue pursuing photography!.!.!.!. you must!Www@QuestionHome@Com

DSC_0259--I like it, but it needs some lighter areas!. I almost think it would be prettier in color (with the green lily pads and dark green water!.!.!.)

DSC_0265_2--Doesn't really do anything for me!. The picture lacks focus--not in the sense that everything is blurry, but in the sense that there doesn't seem to be a defined subject!. Color might help, but it's easy to get distracted from that photo!.

DSC_0275_2--Pretty nice!. I like the way the color pops and the contrast is awesome!.

DSC_0275_3--I don't like as much as the one before!. B&W just makes it look kind of common!. Perhaps if you decreased the contrast and softened the edges for a dreamy quality or adjusted your color balance so the flower is bluish or something!. (I have examples of both but Yahoo! Answers won't let me post links for some reason!.!.!.at least not Photobucket links)!.

DSC_0285_2--Very nice!. Perhaps you could have gotten closer to water level and zoomed in a bit more on the waterfall itself!.

DSC_0283 & DSC_0283_2--Not really doing it for me!. They're too dark to be two-toned!. They either need to be lightened up or in color!.

Hope that helps! Keep practicing! You've got potential!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Taking into consideration your age and camera equipment, you are doing well, however at this point it would be ridiculous for anyone to say this should be a career choice!. If you wish to enter the realm of professional photography there is so much more to learn about equipment, lighting and composition as well as the market!. Fortunately, if you have the desire to learn this, you've got lots of time!. Keep shooting and most of all, enjoy it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are all very good!. I really like the flowers I prefer the black and white, the framing of the photo is good, how it is off center!. I also like the water with the lily pads, I think it could be improved with a bit more contrast!.

Keep of the good work, I think you should also try some motion shots!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The date is wrong in your exif data!. Unless you have been time traveling, I don't think those were snapped in December, 2008!. I seem to remember seeing the lampshade and string photos several months ago!.

You are doing fine for your age and experience level!. If you haven't already, you should begin to build your knowledge of the technical (and artistic) stuff!. Take a class and begin collecting your photographic library!. "Understanding Exposure", by Bryan Peterson is a great start!. Keep learning and practicing, Best wishes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You're pretty good! Your black and whites have a rich tone to them, and your shots have a good command of composition, and sharpness!. Well done!. Keep at it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No worries about your age!. The pictures are quite extraordinary!. Nice angles, good way to use light!. You should be proud!. I especially like the slightly over done exposure on the mini waterfall!. Masterfully done!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sure! Love the "dragged shutter" of the waterfall!.
