Try soft pencil crayons something with a high percentage of pigment and binder and not much clay, something like watercolour pencils or, conte pencils (soft and crumbly pencils and pastel chalks), use them with a china pencil (white) and torchons (paper smudge sticks)!.

Shade gently laying just enough colour down, then smudge, use the china white to add glow!. Don't use watercolour pencils with water though otherwise you will get a solid mark, like a strawberry birthmark!.

You could also try pastel pencils (like pastel chalks ,but more controllable and not as easy to smudge by accident!.

You could even scan the picture in to the PC and use a program like Photoshop or Corel Paint X!. (both of which will give the desired results, with the added bonus of multiple pictures and easy rubbing out of mistakes)!.

Photocopy the image to practice on, that way you have lots of chances of getting it spot on!.

Take your time and work lightly!.

I hope this helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you could use colored pencils and practicing using your finger to smooth out the color on another piece of paper!.!. and once you get that down, do it on your picture!.!.!.!.
!.!.
or you could ask an art teacher or someone whose good with paint!.!.!. i would just say to not use a buch of paint and try to paint softly so there arent defined brush strokes!.!.!.!. whatever you think's best :DWww@QuestionHome@Com
