This should be a number 1 answer!. First clean scan window with glass cleaner!. (if the small picture is on the Internet click on the picture as many times as you can to make it larger) save the file were you wont forget were it!. If you have photoshop you can adjust the saturation (if its color) or the brightness and contract (if it black and white) and print it onto photo paper that is the same brand as your printer!.i!.e HP printer w/ HP photo paper!. Place the small picture in the scan bed after scan bed is clean!.

Crop the picture in your scan bed so you don't have to worry about all that white space

You need to bump up the resolution to around 300 to 400 the best would probably be 500 dpi's which should be under the resolution tab of your scanners options!.

Then you should have a tab for scaling or image size!. the smaller the picture is the larger you should scale it!. It should start at %100 (which is actual size)!. You can keep going up as many % as you wish, if you look, usually under image it will tell you the dimensions of the output art!. If you have a regular printer go over 8!.5 X 11!.

Usually if you change the resolution on the scanner it will make the picture more clear so u can adjust image size!. It works really good with small pictures you have around the house!. You hardly ever have to go over 600 dpi's that is to much and will make it look worse!. 300 dpi's works best for me!.

If you don't have Photoshop, which is a $400 program and also the best photo editing program in the world,!. Let me know and I will help you get a copy for free!.(not a trial copy) a real copy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

that's all for show!.

They start off with a high quality picture, and make it look bad so that it looks like it came off a low quality camera, and then they pop up the original photo!. Nothing really works like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It all depends on the quality of the picture, and how many megapixels they contain!. If you do that, you can use an Apple software called "iMovie" to do thatWww@QuestionHome@Com

You can try changing the resolution!.!. (If you have photoshop, click image>image size and set the resolution to 300)Www@QuestionHome@Com

They actually take a very large picture, and shrink it, then do a close up, to make it seem like it went larger!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
