You could use acetone to transfer it!.

You put the copy on the canvas then tape it in place so it doesn't move or just use your hand to hold it, then put acetone on a thin rag or t-shirt and go over the back of the copy with it and press fairly hard and make sure its wet enough that it dampens the paper enough that it goes through, but try not soak it!. you can periodically check to see if its transferring properly, if not then you should try rubbing over it again!. Make sure your photocopy is dark enough also or you'll have trouble!.

I think you want to transfer the whole image as is, but if you wanted to just transfer teh drawing you could also use carbon paper and put the carbon paper on the canvas then the xerox over the carbon paper and go over the lines of the photo copy, etc to transfer it!. You should press somewhat hard to make sure it transfers well similar to if you were using acetone!.

Another alternative is to get the iron on tranfers and copy onto the sheet and iron on to the canvas, although I'm not sure how well this will work depending on the canvas you're using

You could do the graph method the other person mentioned or copy the image onto acetate and use a project and project the image onto the canvas, but acetone is probably your best bet for most exact original transfer if that's what you're going for!.

The others would require you drawing it on, with the exception of acetone and the iron on transfer which may or may not work on pre gessoed canvas!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are several ways, some more time consuming, and others faster an pricier!.
1!. You can put a grid on the canvas and on the xerox and use it as a guide for sketching the image in!. Imagine a tic tac toe game with the nine squares on each!. This makes it easier to sketch everything in the right place!.
2!. If you have access to an opaque projecter, you can project the Xerox onto the canvas to sketch it!.
3!. Fast and more expensive: Have the image scanned and printed onto canvas!.
There are probably other ways, but those are the ones that come to mind right off!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
