Question: Posting photos on Flickr!?
I have tonnes of photos - and I upload a jpg copy to Flickr as a backup - they are usually set to private!.

I have decided that I want some to be public to get peoples thoughts on them!.!.!.!. Do i need to post the individual photos to different Groups etc to get peeps to see/comment - or just set them as public with suitable keywords!?

how do you do it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Posting your private photos to groups makes them viewable to that group's members!.

If you just want a photo generally public you can change the privacy, either individually or in "organize!."
"To change the privacy levels on photos you've already uploaded, batch them in Organizr, then click "Permissions" and select 'Who can see, comment, tag!?'"Www@QuestionHome@Com

Keep the two separate, the full sized unsigned as your backup where only you have access and create another album for those you want a critique on, but in this album only include low resolution pictures preferably with a signature on!. Set them as public in a Critique Group!. The keywords is a good idea!.

Setting them as public with keywords will ensure that someone wanting to find pictures related to one particular topic will come across them!.

It is probably more likely that you'll get more exposure -:))) by sharing some on relevant groups of interest, as your pictures will be displayed for a while on the main page of the group pool!.
