Question: Painting converse!.!.!.drying them!?
i just finished painting my pair of converse!.!.!.i heard something about putting them in the dryer!? i already blew them dry with a hair dryer do i need to do the other before i wear them!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you painted the sneakers with acrylic paint and they are good and dry (one or two days) then go ahead and put them in a clothes dryer on hot for 10 - 20 minutes to heat set the pigment!. You might want to be selective about what you put in with them (avoid adding delicates, whites, cats (-:)!.

I have painted three different pairs of converse high tops using this method and so far there have not been any problems (except for the cat !.!.!. just kidding!)Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you painted them with acrylics you did not need to hair dry or put it in the dryer either!. Just wait at least 24 hours!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
