Question: Looking for information on artist H!. Durant!. have already looked on google and turned up empty!. HELP!! :)!?

the current painting i have by said artist is oil on canvas and was givin to me from a late aunt!. i know she purchased this paticular painting over 10 years ago but from where im lost!. looking for more art by h!. durant and possably a curent website with contact information!. thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

A photo of the painting would be helpful!.

The artist's name does not show up either at the Smithsonian or at the Getty's Union List of Artist Names, which has roughly 293,000 names in it!.

There is a good chance that Durant will fall into that category known as "decorator art," along with the likes of H!. Gailey, I!. Cafieri, and R!. Farr!. I am currently researching those artists, and will be happy to keep an eye out for Durant if you send me an email!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
