So, I'm trying to clean out my flickr account and keep only the best photos, however, I can't decide which to keep and which to toss!. I really need other's opinions!. Can you please take the time to flip through my photos and tell me which aren't that great!? Any other comments/ criticisim is much appreciated also!. Thanks a bunch!

But this is what I felt so far: 1!."Bleeding Hearts" -- ahh, that was the very first perennial I planted many years ago!. Prefer the first to the second!. 2!. I don't mind the crooked horizon in "Dusk!." 3!. "Swimming" feels over-edited to me!. 4!. "Quack" -- somehow a little dull!. Would take it out!. 5!. "Sailing out of city" -- don't have the right technical words, but just doesn't have enough texture for me if that makes sense!. I'd probably take this one out!. 6!. Vignetting on the "Peter" pictures bugs me a bit!. 7!. I'd take "New Blooms" and "Orange" out 8!. The "Untitled" ones are ok, but just don't do much for me!. 9!. I LIKE "Flooding!." It has a great surreal feel!. Keep! 10!. "Dreams" maybe a little cliche, but it works!. 11!. "Daises!" and "orange" pretty -- but other flower ones are stronger!. I'd take these out!. 12!. "Poka Dot & Flowers" I prefer to some of the other flower ones!. Would keep it!. 13!. "A Pop of Color," sorry for this since I know you like it, but I usually find b&w w/ a spot of color corny!. Sorry !. !.!. !. 14!. Prefer the standing Coke can!. 15!. Really like both pix of the dreamcatcher!. Nice!. 16!. "Point shoes" I like, though a little bothered by that very close cropping on the left!. Might prefer just a tiny bit more breathing room there!. Some I skipped because I couldn't make up my mind!. Hope this help a little!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Revisit your Favorites folder!. Remove near duplicates (choose 1 of Admiral, 1 dandelion, etc!.), lose the ant shots, keep bunny butt (I LOVE that one!) Then bring in 1 of the pointe shoes, one of the dream catcher, and a few more you just can't stand to do without!. Get rid of anything that's not technically great: "Dusk" has a very lopsided horizon line; the duck shot is out of focus; the first bleeding heart shot is great, the second one - not so much, etc!. Then just lose the other folders altogether!. Zip! Pop! Instant edit! On the other hand, just decide on a theme for your acct!. (flowers, objects, whatever) and throw out anything that doesn't fit!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I love the bunny pictures! My daughter has had several pet rabbits, and I think they're some of the best pets! Bunny butt was adorable! I think dusk should go, because of the skewed horizon!. Or you can fix it by a slight rotation and crop and it will be good!. Swimming should go because it's a bit too light!. Personally, I'm not comfortable posting pictures of minor children on public spaces anyway, but that's just me!. You could just change the privacy to friends and family!. Anything selective color can go!. It's just so overdone, and rarely efective!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Well I love all of the pictures that are on the front page :)!! My only advice would be to straighten the horizion on the "Dusk" picture (don't delete it, its really good)!! I don't like the ones of Peter though, I bet you like him because he is close to you but for someone who dosen't know peter those pictures are not great!. also I don't like the orange flower ones, the sky is overexposed!. also the ant one is a little wierd, you can't really see the ant!!Www@QuestionHome@Com |
