Question: Whats a great way to draw cool/realistic people & monsters!?

Whats a great way to draw cool/realistic people & monsters!? Kind of like the ones in the commercial of AlienTHink!.com
only i dont have alot of money to spend on stuff, struggling artist ya know! (I have money just not enough to spend on lessons) any good places or tuts I should check out!? any tips!? Currently My toonish pics suck, so I would like to learn how to do more realistic cool stuff! Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

first: try coping a charecter into a paper and you might rather wanna copy it in diffrent moves and actions it might help!.
second: copy the same charecter again but in two diffrent ways you may choose which one, the first way is you try to combine things from that charecter with another charecter, the second way is recopy the same charecter but add something from your mind!.!.!.for example you drew a horse, then you draw the same horse again with a horn in his head and wings on his back!.!.!.that's how i become good at copying things with a Pencile although when it comes to colors, that unicorn will turn into Mr!. i go and buy how to draw books and they really help, sometimes if i dont have enough money i just look through them and try memorizing the parts i need!.

there are probably alot of sites on the internet as well if you havent tried that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
