Question: Howrse - Black pearl help!?

Hello, i have a coat for the black pearl!. The only problem is getting the standard Background on it!. I have photoshop CS3, but i don't know how to work it, because im new to it!. Please help me to put the standard background on my picture!. ThanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

assumption is that you have image of horse, and you want background with image,
open background in photoshop,
then open horse image, copy, then paste into new layer over background, then erase around horse image,
