IF the paint is not dried yet in the brush begin with your paint thinner [probably turpentine]!.!.!.!.next go to a cake of soap and under the faucet ,water running work the brush back and forth over the cake!.!.!.but if the paint is dry in the brushes go to plan B and soak them in Stripease!.!.!.this is something to be very careful with!.!.!.follow the cans direction exactly!.!.!.the end product will be a very soft brush which in time will stiffen up back to it's old self!. I suspend the brushes i'm using with a wire coil over a can of thinner so that they are always in the thinner but not resting on the bottom!.!.!.!.a common error of many is to leave the brushes in a can of thinner after swishing them around to get the paint out!.!.!.then you bend the bristle out of shape and also reintroduce the paint to the brush as sediment on the bottomWww@QuestionHome@Com

for clothes, there's really no much you can do!. For brushes and palette first use turpentine!. then warm soap and water!. and for your brushes, then use a product called "Master's Brush Cleaner and Preserver" Check out the posted source link!. It's included in the Artist's Survivor Kit!. also just so you know, they have water soluble oil paints now that are a little easier to clean and better for the environment (and your health)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thinner and 'soap and water'!. Ordinary hard soap you'd use to wash your hands works best!. Just foam it up and rinse!.

It isn't a problem how to get stuff clean!.!.!.!.!. getting brushes clean AND still be able to use the brush next time is!.

Be gentle!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
