Question: What steps should I take to be a successful first time face painter!?

I am opening a face painting booth at the summer festival fair in my town in a couple of weeks!. I love art, and I have done some facing painting for free before, so I am taking the next step and doing it at the fair to earn some extra cash and have fun!. 1!. use good quality materials!. hypoallergenic theatrical makeup works best!. This can be pricier than buying cheap facepainting kits, but its worth it!. The paint goes on cleaner, and easier, it doesnt irritate sensitive skin, and doesnt dry and crack!.

2!. bring some glitter or sequins for the "princess" look

3!. dont spend too much time with one child, all of a sudden everyone wants the same timeconsuming design look!.

4!. have 6-10 easy designs that you can pull from if a child doesnt know EXACTLY what they want!. A couple boy designs, a couple girl designs, a couple unisex designs, and maybe one or two abstract designs or designs based on the theme of the festival!.

If you can, do them ahead of time on friends and take pictures to display at your booth as samples of what you can do!.

5!. before the festival starts offer to paint the faces of some of the other vendors for free!. It is great free advertising, and if you do a good job they will talk up your booth to other customers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
