Question: I plan on buying a mac for graphic design, i need help before i got to school for graphic design!?

I saved 2000 for a macbook before i go to school for graphic design!. I want to know if I should buy the macbook for graphic design!?

How will i benifit from having a macbook for my course!?

I am working on my bachelors in animation, and I do some graphic design on the side, and let me tell you - it is amazing!

I highly recommend the MacBook Pro, even if you just get it with the minimum specs!. It works amazingly! Everything works smoothly, and it is easy to save work so that it isn't lost if a program crashes (which rarely happens, but will happen more often if you are running heavy software like us graphic designers do :-P)
