I think it is because art is the bridge of the human psyche!. Through it we can explore the depths of our minds, it explores the unexplainable!. It expresses the ineffable, by the use of which words would Beethoven be able to expound his 9th symphony for example!. But art goes beyond this, it goes beyond a painting, a sculpture or a symphony!. Art is the interpretation of the world!. Even in philosophy and science I believe there is art to be found, for example take Plato's poetic perception of reality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Art is formed from many many many many variates of culture and has gone through many major transformations throughout time itself!. Art is an important part of our history, recreation, and development through the ages, as well as the growing talents that go one from person to person from generation to generation that inspire, encourage, and entice others to pursue in anything they believe they can do!.
It may seem to some people that Picasso's works are just a bunch of color and shapes, but in reality, it has transformed our world as we know it today!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
