Question: I don't know what to draw!?

When i get my drawing pad out i have no idea what to draw,do you have ideas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

One of my daughters loves horses!.
The other one loves dogs!.
Draw a horse and dog playing around in the meadows with an old ragged barn in the back ground!. Make it early morning or late evening, because that is when the best light is out!. There would be a lot of shadows to show detail, but with the dimming light it would have a soft feel about it!. The sky would not be a real dark blue, but dance around with yellow, pinks, purples, orange and some red!. Don't forget about the bright white that is set off by the sun setting or rising in the distance!.

If nothing occurs right away, you might want to get a writing pad and just let fly!. Write down everything that comes to mind, and block nothing out!. Then put down the pad for a couple of hours and come back to it!. Whatever grabs you, try to draw that!.

In any case, inspiration can't be forced!. Heck, sometimes, when it does hit, it's hard NOT to draw something!. It's like your possessed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i have this problem all the time when i took art in high school!. a good trick is to take inspiration from a favorite movie or book!. one time i had to make a picasso style picture so i just pictured the scenes from a movie and started drawing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

usually i will walk around the house or in my back yard, or even take a drive to look for inspiration!.
other times, i will doodle on a piece of scratch paper until an idea hits me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Get some inspriation!. Look in some books, any kind!. Watch tv, go for a walk!. And maybe you can put it all together!. also free sketch!. Look at it as fun, not work!. Because work is boring!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
