Your camera will come with a USB cable to connect to your computer!.

If you decide you want to use a memory card (your Sony will probably use a Memory Stick Pro Duo card), then you can either use the USB Cable or a card reader!. Card readers are devices that allow you to directly connect your memory card to your computer!. That is the route I recommend!. Get a card reader!. They're only about $10 or so!.

I would highly recommend against a Sony camera!. They are good cameras, but they use a proprietary memory technology (Memory Stick) that only Sony uses!. So, if you buy a new camera later on, it has to be a sony if you want to keep your same memory card!. Likewise for Olympus and Fuji cameras and their proprietary xD card!. All other manufacturers use SD memory cards nowadays!. SD is pretty much the standard memory format, and it is normally cheaper than SD or xD!.

It isn't a huge deal nowadays since memory is so cheap, but I still caution against buying into proprietary technologies like xD or Memory stick!. Sony cameras aren't inherently better than any other manufacturer, so I don't see the big deal in choosing a comparable Sanyo or Nikon or Canon (all of which use SD) over the Sony, unless you just like the Sony for a specific reason!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The camera should come with a cable to hook to your laptop!. It will have a USB connector on one end and a connector that fits into the camera!. I would strongly suggest getting a card reader instead of using the camera and cable!. This allows you to insert just the memory card into a reader and get your pics easily!. The advantage to this is that you do not waste battery life of your camera!. Most card readers are inexpensive and read a variety of cards!. You also may want to verify that your laptop does not already have a card reader built in to it, many newer models have that feature!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

All digital cameras these days come standard with USB cords to transfer your photos!. Most also come with some sort of software as well!.

You could also get a card reader to attach to your computer!. You could take your memory card and insert it and put your photos onto your laptop that way as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most cameras now come with a USB cord that plugs in to your USB port and the other end into the camera!. You may have to install software which should come with the camera also!. Then you should have no problems!. Unless you go with a really cheap model camera you shouldnt have to purchase anything else unless you just really want to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

All new cameras come with a USB connector that connects between your camera and the computer !.!.!. However, most of us long ago took the camera out of the loop and use a card reader !.!.!. either one that is on our computer or a $10 USB card reader!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The camera will probably come with a USB cable which hooks up to your camera, and then to your computer!. Make sure it comes with one before you buy it, otherwise you can buy one seperatly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Easy as pie!.!.!. cake!.!.!. no pie!.

Depends on the camera!. Most have a SD memory card you can pull out and plug straight into the SD slot on your computer (or else $10 buys you a USB card reader)

Usually camera's come with the cable to connect it to your PC or even television!.

They also come with software but you don't need it!.!.!. though it can be handy!.

So camera's come with all you need !.!.!.!.some extra memory is nice to have!. Even if it is only to not have all your Photographic eggs in one basket!. And check what batteries are being used!. Preferably standard issue so you can buy some anywhere if your batteries run out!. Just a tip!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
