Put yourself in your prospective employer's place !. !. !. who would you hire -- the person who studied at the best schools but whose work is mediocre, or the person who has a mediocre degree but a strong portfolio!?

Always the portfolio!. School is ok, but in the field most people take on jobs outside of were they went to school!. So many employers are not familiar with all the schools!.
