Question: What kind of program can I use to restore old photographs!?
I want to be able to reprint old family photos minus the flaws like creases, rips, water spots, etc!. I'm new to this, so I'm not sure where to start!. Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

THE best program for this is of course photoshop!. However, it is also very expensive!. Its smaller cousin is called Photoshop Elements, about one 6th of the price (about $90 - 100), and it is a very good program, too!.
PaintShopPro is also rather good and not as expensive as PS!.

Gimp is free, and somewhere between PS and Elements!. You can find it here http://www!.gimp!.org/!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I use Microsoft Picture it, which is cheap!. There are lots of programmes out here, and if you've got a digital camera you may have the software already!. All you have to do is enlarge the photo on your computer and work on small areas at a time!. I have retouched lots of very old photos this way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Use http://www!.picnik!.com Just scan the old photograph on the computer, then uploade it to picnik!.com, then you will see an "auto fix" button, just click that!. It usually fixes pictures up very well!. Give it a try!.!.!.trust me
