White would make it look so sterile!. Creme/off white could soften the color contrast!. Adding a some terra cotta or some hue of a deep red on an accent wall (a main wall of the room) would make the black actually pop I think!. Good luck!.!.!.!. have fun decorating! But also maybe a red or a bergendy!. My cousin has black furniture and she has creamy brown on her walls!. But she also decorated with red!.
