Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Graffiti is not the medium of a creative mind, but simply an outlet for an irresponsible dilenquent!. If you really want to draw, or even paint on the side of a building, many times it's as simple as asking the owner if they would mind your creating a murale as a means of public decoration!. You'd be surprised how many times those same people will even pay a commission for such art! We're talking free paint guys, just for being polite!. Art and expression are some of the greatest freedoms we can excercise as humans!. Don't encourage a the desecration of those ideals by applauding vandalism!.Www@QuestionHome@Com i don't like graffiti that's written, but graffiti that's drawn is really cool, definitely shows talent in art!. not that long ago, teens had graffiti'd the back wall, as well as my dad's car!. definitely an act of vandalism, and really tacky!. don't know what went through their minds that they thought they could do something like that!. and something that looked like it was done by a four-yr old!. we all called the cops on them, and they had to pay hefty fines!. they made it too obvious they were the ones that had done it!. however, recently there was an event at work celebrating twenty yrs, and they brought in a couple of teens to do some graffiti to showcase in front of everyone, and it was great!. didnt take very long, and wow! were they talented!. couldnt believe that at such a young age, their graffiti looked like that of a person in their late 20s, early 30s, and really looked like a work of art!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I have seen some true art in Graffiti, but, it is tacky to mark up someone else's property and have them have to pay to clean up what has been done!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Infantile, derivative, vandalism - & foul, mostly The exception are the true artists - Banksy & George Hambov (amongst others) who do something original & exciting with the formatWww@QuestionHome@Com i think it makes the place look like $hit but the images and things they draw are actually quite impressive some of them are really talented drawers so as long as its no where near my house im not that bothered about itWww@QuestionHome@Com I think it's artWww@QuestionHome@Com i thinkkk its pretty cool and it shows art to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
