Question: Need help if painting is real or not!?!?!?!?

Ok so i just got a painting that looks real!. The texture of the painting is rough!. You can see the paint also it looks like it is painted on a canvas or piece of paper!. On the bottom right hand corner and the painter says E!. Roccu or E!. Roccy Please helpWww@QuestionHome@Com

There are reproductions (prints) that are printed on a canvas to give the reproduction the look and feel of an original work of art!. Most experienced art people, from critics to serious artists, can usually tell by looking at the painting if it's an original painting or a print that has been printed on canvas!.

However, there is an easy way to tell!. Look at the sides of the canvas!. If it's in a frame you'll probably need to remove it from the frame!. Study the sides of the painting on canvas!. If the different colors of paint all stop in a perfectly even line on each side of the canvas you've got a reproduction printed on a canvas!. It the paint flows unevenly over the edges on the sides of the canvas, if certain colors overlap each other, you have an original painting!.

If it looks like a painting, feels like a painting, and has the signature of a painter, it's most likely a painting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
