The third one has a good composition, good contrast, and is in focus and not grainy!.

The first one is nice, but grainy!. The focus could be improved upon!.

The second one shouldn't really be centered, but overall it is okay!.

The last one is blurry like you said!.

Here is some advice!.

First, do not show the public photos that are grainy or out of focus!. It isn't because they aren't interesting, but it brings down the better works that someone creates!. The only time to share them really, is in the appropriate environment for advice!.

Second, do not ever let the words of others bring you down!. Photography is very competitive!. Even the best photographers will say that they can improve!. People sometimes come across harsh whenever their intention are just to help!. Others are just mean because they can be!. Just follow your heart!. If you want it, you have to work for it!.

Third, there are a number of places online that are totally free that tell you advice about lighting, composition, and even "rules"!. The rules are more like a guideline (like the rule of thirds), but with art rules can be broken!. The guidelines (that sounds better) are there to help your photos look good and they do usually help with that!. There are also places online that deal with various settings on the camera and so on!. All I usually do is google what I want to know about!. If I want to learn about lighting, I specifically google that subject!.

Fourth, get gimp (free) or pay for an inexpensive photo editing program like Paint Shop Pro (that is what I learned with)!. You can also use websites like photobucket!.com or picnik!.com!. If and when it is in your budget (and I assume at your age it is not), you can get the industry standard and try out Adobe Photoshop!. Post editing can make a world of difference!. However, without the fundamentals, it isn't really going to do much for you!.

And finally, believe in yourself!. Look at things differently!. Is it just a broken gate or is a an interesting subject for you to photograph!? Take pictures!. The more you take, the more practice you are getting!. also, as you are doing now, try different subjects to photograph and later even different styles!. Photography is a learning process in itself!. Learn from your mistakes!.

Good luck with photography!. It is a lot of fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your question is do you have what it takes!. How would a bunch of strangers on Y!A know!? If the question was, "Are these four pictures professional looking!?" the answer is no!. The vines are not bad, but very ordinary!. The tower has exposure and composition problems, and the other two are not in focus!.

You very may well have what it takes, but are just lacking the skill as of now!. You can acquire the knowledge to be a photographer via several avenues, and the skill comes with lots of practice!. Take some classes, Betterphoto always has some good classes going on, or try your local community college!. Get some books on beginning photography, anything by Bryan Peterson is good!. Continue learning and practicing and you will eventually decide for yourself if you have what it takes!. Best wishes and good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm going to have to agree with deadbeat!. The pictures are ok, but old hat, and poorly executed!. I work as an assistant for a profesional photographer, and I dabble in it myself!. If you want to take photography seriously, you should take some classes!. I'm not saying you have to get out there and get a degree or something, but get some experience!. Try different cameras, like manual ones!. Learn how to develop film!. These things will help you to understand photography on a different level!. By taking classes, you will learn about different effects you can do, and what kind of camera works best for what, and how to really use the camera to its fullest advantage, instead of simply relying on photoshop or something!.

good luck! Keep trying, you can only get better!Www@QuestionHome@Com

All of your photos were wonderful!. I like the last one the best it almost looks like a painting!. My advice to you as a photographer, experiment with different angels; it looks like you got the frontal in focus and background blurry thing down pat, try the opposite if you can, my camera is a little fussy when it comes to it and try taking pictures of different subjects and find which one you like the best!. I find I like to take pictures of nature the best, while i love staged photos too!.!.!.(kind of like dress-up) lol!. also try researching some photography websites/magazines and become more familar with photography terms; this will help you know what you are talking about!.
Happy shooting! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you have a camera, you have what it takes to be a photographer!. Being a good one is just a matter of the eye of the beholder!. In my opinion, ONLY, the 3 photos you shared are just badly composed close-ups!. The are not interesting or imaginative!. You obviously have the basic skills!. Keep working on composition!. Send some of your pix to magazines where you think they will fit!. See what the editors say!. Remember- I am just one person with VERY strong opinions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You seem to have a natural sense of composition!. That's a really good start!.

Are you asking because you'd like to take classes!?

I'm definitely an advocate of getting an education in photography if you're serious!. School is amazing because it really motivates you to push the limits!. You'll learn how to pick interesting subject matter and think through the statement that you want to make!.

Photography is not about making pretty pictures, but you'll learn that as you take classes from experienced professors!. I'd say "go for it" though because you have a natural eye!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like the funky style used, but your main problemis a lack o subjects!. A friend of mine took some amazing pictures by going into down town LA, and snapping shots of the oddities there!. Find some excitement!Www@QuestionHome@Com

no, i took an ammature picture like this and they were better!. there is nothing special about your pictures, anyone can take pictures like this with any camera!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
