I had to work my way up the artist ladder!.!.!. This was my strategy!.!.!. Find a picture off the internet!.!.!.then TRACE it!.!.!. Then TRACE the TRACED drawing and fix mistakes!.!.!. Then try and draw the picture without drawing!. After some practice and effort you should be able to draw the picture decently!.!.!.eventually you won't need to trace it!. Then practice freeform (No picture to trace) And then draw it a couple times and see if it gets better!.!.!. also warming up before you draw is good!.!.!. Scribble small drawing on a piece of paper before getting into your better artwork!.!.!. Eventually you'll be good enough to impress yourself!.!.!.past that it comes down to practice and practice!.!.!. Second!.Pay attention to the space!.Don't just draw what the center of the drawing is supposed to be!.Don't forget the space around it!It's essential!. Third!.Experiment with color!.Most things,if you look closer aren't the color you expected it to be!.Something clear,for example,have many different colors in it!. So this friend of mine told me once that anyone can draw anything even if they are not good artist!. She recommended something that really helped me!.!.!. I still stink, but it did help!. This is only for if you are copying something freehand though!.!.!. Place the picture you would like to render your own version of UPSIDE DOWN in front of you!.!. this way you aren't stressing over perfection of an object, scene whatever, it forces you to duplicate lines and shadows, shapes and contours, but you can relax a bit more!.!.!. when I turned mine the right way, I was amazed that it helped me!.!.!. In my personal opinion, the best way to improve your drawing skills is the attend a life drawing (nude model) class!. This is a classical technique, but its still the best!.
