Question: 35mm to 65mm stitch!?
Okay here it is short and sweet!. Would stitching two 35mm photos together equal what would seen through a 65mm movie camera!? 35+35= 70, so minus 5 where a soundtrack would be = 65mm correct!? If I do a panorama shot of just two 35mm images, it would equal an 65mm or 70mm image!?
This would be what is captured onto a 65mm camera!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are on the right track !.!.!. the film is 70 mm and has a 65!.5 mm image!.

I think you will be able to answer your own question when you think about how motion picture film goes through the projection gate!. This trip is vertical, so the image is 24 mm wide and about 18 mm high, stitching the two together would give you a 48 mm x 18 mm image in total, but of course the physical complexity of this would make this effort far too expensive when compared to shooting using a 70 mm camera to begin with!.
