wet it down!.!.!. it could take awhile to absorb before you can use it!.!. get a pail and set the clay in the bucket and add water to cover!.!. let it set for a day or two!.!. could take a long time!

you will have to let it dry some after you hydrate the clay to work with it!.!.

cut a chunk !.!. shape and form!.!. make what you want!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Remoisten it, slowly, with just a little water!.
Use a wet rag or sponge to let the water
slowly soak in!. (Might take all day!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
