Those are actually looking really great for a beginner!. If you want to be an artist when you grow up, I would suggest lots of practice, especially drawing real people!. I know it seems hard at first, but when you know how to draw people more realistically, it makes drawing anime and cartoon characters easier!. Weird huh!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pretty good for an 11 year old, I'll say! :) Some adults can't draw for their life, haha!. :) This is from the anime Beyblade, right!? Love that anime!. :) If you did this in the top of your head, its good 'cause if you want to be a manga-ka or doujinshi-ka you need to memorize your character!. Every little detail!. But since your a beginner, I suggest you draw other anime characters, but YOUR version of them, just like you did with the Beyblade characters!. Then after lots of practice, draw ORIGINAL characters!. If you want to be an artist in general, then you should work on your shading and expanding colors and the media (the type of material you use to draw or paint!.!.!. e!.g!.: tempera, watercolor, oil pastel, acrylic, etc!. ) you use!. You have potential!. Keep up the good work! ^_~

And for the art classes!.!.!. I suggest you take them! It will help you A LOT!. Or you should an art class in school for free!. It will be worth it!. If you want to be specifically a manga-ka, take manga classes!. Study about the human anatomy and body, which will help you sooo much with drawing manga or anime!. You can do that by drawing real humans or taking an anatomy class!. You can also try reading books about it!.

Good luck! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi Fiona,

You did quite well!.
Being a good artist is mostly about work than talent and showing your work to other artists is important, for they will help you to develop your skills but offering constructive criticism!.
Here's a great site where you can learn alot:
