SLR camera?

The Hasselblad 503 is the top overall slr (could be debated but would love to hear from someone that thinks the HD3 can match a drum scanned 120 format image) and the Hasselblad H3D is the top digital slr for studio/commercial work!.

The current best sports/pj/event slr (what 35mm slr's have always been used for) is the D3 with insane speed, lovely full frame colour, and high ISO performance!. The Canon 1Ds, although slower, with a slightly compromised image quality due to it having so many pixels crammed into such a small space, is great for sport if you don't want to spend the $$$ on super tele lenses and prefer to crop in post production!.

Landscape photography is still the domain of the big boys, 4x5/8x10 et al!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the 1ds has a ludicrous megapixel count, and is for high end stuff (and a price tag to boot) while the 1d is for sports shooters looking for speed!.

Yes, the H3D is really in a class by itself (being based upon a medium-format camera body design, as opposed to 35mm)
