Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: No and No!. The court allows only sketch artists because photography may compromise witnesses' identities and because defendants are presumed innocent!. Again, photography would compromise defendant's rights and in certain cases might get them killed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Cameras are not typically allowed for the reasons given!. Professional sketch artists know who they can draw and who they can't (so if you see one with the jury in the background their faces will be blurred)Www@QuestionHome@Com It's against the law to have cameras in court, but judges can allow it for high profile cases (celebrities)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Because the judge ordered it to be that way!.
