Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Depends on the kind of paint and the manufacturer!. It is all trial and error, and experience!. Brown is basically a very muted orange, so try mixing red and yellow (to make the orange) and add a bit of blue until you get brown!.!.!. plus white to lighten!. With oil paints, you can add some lemon or azo yellow and ultramarine blue to burnt sienna to get a brown!. Or, just buy a brown paint and add white!.Www@QuestionHome@Com If there is a slight blue tint to your color, add it's opposite, which is orange!. Try Cadmium Red and Yellow, add them little by little until the blue is gone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Mix some yellow and green and small bit of blue, then make it as pale as you want a by adding white!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Orange and blue together to get a muddy brown color, then add white to get pale brown!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
