Question: Can I use Polaroid 600 film in a OneStep Polaroid camera that says takes SX70 film!?
Can I use Polaroid 600 film in a OneStep Polaroid camera that says takes SX70 film!?

I bought a package of 20 picture 600 film for $27 to use in my OneStep Polaroid camera!. My camera says it takes SX70 film but I didn't see any Polaroid film explicitly saying it was SX70!. Will this 600 film still work in my camera!? I don't want to have wasted almost $30!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sadly, the answer is "No"!. Polaroid made several cameras with the name "One Step"!. The early models used SX-70 film; later ones used 600!. If your manual/camera says you need SX-70, you're mostly out of luck!. On the other hand, if you keep the film in the freezer, you may very well be able to recoup the price you paid for it, because Polaroid had also ceased production of 600 film!. In a year or so, your (almost) perfectly preserverd film packs should sell for a premium!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
