Find out who the jurors are!. Their names are usually listed somewhere on the entry form or advertisements, or call the show sponsors!. Then research (google) those people and find out their backgrounds!. You are looking for the kind of art they make (or made), the kind of museums/galleries they are involved with, and what other shows they juried and who were the show winners!. Then, you will have some idea of the kind of art those particular jurors like!.!.!. realism, abstraction, etc!. This will give you an idea of what work to enter into the show you are interested in, or perhaps you should pass on that particular show!.

also, it is very important that you follow the instructions on the entry form exactly!. Any artwork that is labeled incorrectly, or any slide (if that is what they want) that looks amateurish will be tossed out during the initial stages of the jurying!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
