Goodness!.!.!. these answers are taking you around the world to get across the street!

Just go to Image - Canvas Size

When there, check the RELATIVE box!. You can then enter any border size you want in either pixels or inches, and make it any color you want by clicking the color box, or just selecting the black or white selection from the drop down list!. Click ok, and the border is put around your photo!. You may have to do it a time or two to get just the right size you want!.

Here's how I do it:

New layer!. Select All!. Under Edit, choose Stroke!. Choose the size (in pixels) and color of the stroke, and hit OK!.

I've actually done this using more than one stroke so that the border is black but has a tiny white bead inside it!. Just do Stroke twice; first for the white, then for the black (making the black about 5 or ten pixels smaller than the white)!.

Here's my tutorial where I describe the process and show how I've used it in a specific body of work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

new layer, select all, paint fill with your color of choice!. make the layer transparent so you can see what to select, the area you want framed and cut!. then put the opacity back to normal!. poof its a border!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
