Not likely!.

An architect is more than someone who can think up attractive buildings!. They require extensive and detailed knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and legal, code requirements!. An architect has to be an "expert" in many disciplines, and a person is not likely to be exposed to the required knowledge and skills on his own!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would think there is a vocational school that would teach that!. Those are usually 10 months or so!. I would check that out, if you do not want to go to college!. Just google "architect" or "vocational schools"!. Hope this helps!. I am always trying to get my boys interested in architechure!. I think it would be a wonderful career choice!. I would say no you will need some type of Engineering/Design degree!. Try getting a learn from home one!. If you haven't buy some design programmes such as 3d home designer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
