I'm color blind as well ( red-green) yet dispite that I've manged to complete color-theory representational painting, and digital painting!. I found simple ways to work around my issues!.
When painting I always set up my pallet in the exact same way!. That way if I need to mix a purple, for example, I know I need to mix a cool red which is always on the left side with a warm blue which is always on the right side!.
For digital painting (which is way easier) If I need to paint skin tones, one of the most challenging things I find because of all the reds and oranges I miss!. I will copy and paste a few images onto my photoshop board so that I can use the eye dropper tool and just steal colors of the appropriate tones!. f

There's no way to cure your color blindness, but there are definatly tricks to working around it!. I'm working on a short film right now and when I picked my colors I just grabbed the student who was best at color theory and asked her for help!.

My best advice is to buy neutral colored clothing like black white or blue, so that you don't dress like a clown!. I don't own any other colors ^_^Www@QuestionHome@Com
