Hi,

You do not need a license to be a photographer!.!.!.!. just like you do not need a license to be an artist or a musician!.

If you are going to charge people money, you need to make sure your work is of a high enough standard, I suggest taking a short course at a college or doing LOTS of practice!.

You may also want to study up on certain laws (like copyright laws and laws pertaining to models under 18 and also model release forms etc)!.

If you take photographs at venues or events, sometimes you need to organise a press pass or approval, often these are only given to professional photographers working for a magazine or agency!.

also!.!.!.!. when you develop your craft to a point where you are good enough to charge for your service, you may wish to consider membership to a national photography club!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a tax license you must charge a sales tax, so study up on that!.!.!. infact you may want to take a class or two on business and photography at your local community college before you start it couldn't hurt and it would be a great resource and it would look good in your portfolio (and those little certificates look so important on the wall of your studio,!.!.makes a person look brilliant!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on your geographic location (and possibly also on what you are taking photographs of)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
