I believe that the main exponents of Pointilism (particularly Seurat, Segnac & Cross) used oils, but as the previous answerer states, it is a style of painting so either could be usedWww@QuestionHome@Com

I believe they could use either, as pointillism relates to the technique rather than the medium used!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
