Question: Whats a simple way to darken people on photoshop!?

I need to darken some peoples faces on an image using photoshop, whats the simplest way!? (im a photoimpact guy!.!. this is a new world to me)!.

lasso doesnt seem like the way to go!.!. its not as friendly as PI lasso, how do i select say the skin tones of their faces then make it all darker and leave the rest the same!?

or any other ways to dim a part of the image!?

Look for the burn tool on the tool panel (shortcut O) to darken specific areas of a picture by hand!.

Or, alternatively, to darken the whole image you can adjust the "Levels" under Image > Adjustments (shortcut CTRL + L)!. Slide the "Output Levels" to darken the image to your taste!.

To select a specific color, use Select > Color Range!.!.!. and use the eye drop tool to select the color and adjust fuzziness!. Then you can do what you will the selected color!.

with selection you can adjust hue/ saturation, adjust levels, use various other layers with overlay modes,

duplicate layer, create mask, adjust layer mode(s), paint with brush or with with burn option,
