HDR photography produces images designed to carry a much higher range than can be captured in one frame!. This is accomplished by taking a number of bracketed frames and then combining them together in software!.

The range of images produced with this technique goes from surreal to very normal looking (but with extra punch) all the way to some very cartoony looks!. This is heavily dependent on the tone-mapping stage of the process!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
