Question: What is this painting!? (Pre-Raphaelite)!?
http://www!.christianbook!.com/Christian/B!.!.!.

Who did the painting on the cover of this book!? I thought it was Waterhouse, but I couldn't find it on a site that supposedly listed all of his works!. I know that they edited the painting to go with the theme of the book (girls being submissive, vs the woman having the power in the orignal painting) If you know the title or where I can find it, that would be great!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's The Accolade by Edmund Blair Leighton!. I don't like what they did to it though, the original is best!. It's a fairly common Pre-Raphaelite image so I'm sure you could get a copy anywhere they sell art prints!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is more likely a modern illustrator, check with the publisher!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
